No International Cricket In Pakistan Till 2023?

International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced countries name who will be hosting different ICC’s event till 2023. The first World Test Championship which is replacing ICC Champions Trophy will be held in England in 2017. No ICC event is scheduled in Pakistan this means that Pakistan will not host any event of ICC.

According to cricket experts in Pakistan this decision of ICC shows that cricket governing body is not interested in giving matches to Pakistan and therefore it is very likely that other cricket nations will also not send their team to Pakistan. Sources in Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have said that PCB also does not want any team to tour Pakistan because of security situation in Pakistan and when law and order improves in the country than PCB may think seriously to invite international teams.
ICC also decided to held World Twenty20 tournament in every four years instead of the current two-year interval. First ICC Test Championship will be held in England in 2017 and second in India in 2021. 2019 ODI World Cup will also be held in England whereas India will be hosting 2023 ODI World Cup.
