Electricity Crisis: India on Number 1 Position, Pakistan on 16th

burning laltenWashington: The World Bank and other organizations have revealed shocking statistics regarding power failure in countries. India is on top position where 306.2 Million people have no access to electricity in good manner. Nigerians are second most suffering country in world where 82.4 Million people have lack access to electricity. This is really shocking statistics for those Pakistanis who believe that we are the only country in theWorld. 

Countries facing Load-Shedding:


The report has top 20 countries list which are facing electricity problems. Bangladesh is on 3rd position where 66.6 Million people suffering from this worst condition. This report includes Ethiopia (63.9 million), Congo (55.9 million), Tanzania (38.2 million), Kenya (31.2 million), Sudan (30.9 million), Uganda (28.5 million), Myanmar (24.6 million), Mozambique (19.9 million and War Affected country Afghanistan where 18.5 people are facing this issue.
In Pakistan 15 Million (1.5 Crore) people have lack access to electricity. Most of rural areas are in worst condition. The New Democratic Government in Pakistan hasn’t provided clear method to resolve this issue. This electricity shortage is also affecting on economic situation. Gradually, most of foreign projects are shifting to other countries from affected countries.
Report says Pakistan, India, China, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Philippines are moving to resolve this issue. And they can reach on Sustainable position by 2030.
